For those of you who watch the show 24, and know who Jack's brother is, you will understand when I say how caught off guard I was when a guy who looked EXACTLY like him walked onto the bus. I kept looking over at him, expecting him to kill me. He sat creepily in the back of the bus, almost smiling to himself. I was able to get a creeper picture of this guy, although you can't really tell what he looks like because he was so far away and iPhone cameras don't have good zoom. But for those of you who know the show...you'll see the resemblance.

Strangely Overweight, Multiple Pierced, Dr. Pepper-Addicted Bible Man
Yesterday, I once again encountered the strangely overweight, multiple pierced, Dr. Pepper addicted Bible man. I had seen him once before; if you're a frequent of the King County Metro System, you start to become familiar with some of the drivers and other regular passengers. I enjoy people watching, especially on the bus. I wonder what they're thinking about, what their lives are like. And, in the Seattle area, it is inevitable that you will regularly see kind of an odd duck. This guy was one of those. Both times I've seen him he was wearing a brown beret, green corduroy jacket, and khaki-tan colored corduroy pants. The guy has to be over 300 pounds, but he carries his weight very awkwardly. It's all below his waist. His chest and face are actually quite slender. It just looks odd. His face is clean shaven and his eyes are very big and very close together. His left ear has six piercings all the way down; huge gold hoops in each. He sat down across from me. He had a small backpack and a plastic grocery bag containing nothing but a 2-liter bottle of Dr. Pepper. Then he pulled a Bible out of his backpack and started reading it! Yes, I know I live in Seattle, and yes, I have seen stranger things, but for some reason this whole picture just kind of made me laugh. It just seemed very odd to me.
